A stepped volumetry within the urban pulse.
In a consolidated urban environment, architecture does not occupy the place; it interprets it. The volume is fragmented into four levels that step progressively, generating terraces, voids, and transitions that allow the building to breathe and relate to its immediate context.
Form is not continuous.It recedes, adjusts, and balances itself.
Folds that capture the eye.
Each fold introduces light, distance, and control. The outdoor spaces appear as natural extensions of the interior, building a constant relationship between openness and privacy.
The layout is organised from continuity.
Open plans, fluid connections, blurred boundaries. Large openings allow the interior to extend outwards, dissolving the perception of space and fostering a more free and flexible living experience.
The challenge was to integrate amplitude and intimacy in a single gesture.
Responding to urban proximity without transferring it to the interior. Generating light without exposure, opening views without losing privacy.
Materiality reinforces this dual condition.
Stone, in contact with the ground, provides weight and roots. Above it, the upper planes are lightened by continuous surfaces in dark tones, where heat-treated timber introduces a contained and precise warmth.
Inside, light builds the space.
The rooms are organised around clarity and proportion, with a visual continuity that fosters comfort and calm. Each opening frames the exterior, integrating it as part of the daily experience.
