A roof that folds to dialogue with the mountain.
The home is born from a clear formal gesture: a series of stepped volumes topped by asymmetrical pitched roofs that reinterpret the alpine profile. These folds define a dynamic silhouette, protect the façades from solar radiation, and frame long views across the landscape, building a sober and timeless presence.
Hillside integration as a compositional strategy.
The house adapts to the slope through stepping terraces that follow the natural contour of the land. A powerful slate stone plinth anchors the home to the ground, while intermediate bodies and upper planes in a graphite finish generate sharp overhangs that protect the openings and fragment the built mass.
Materiality and precision as an architectural language.
Stone, anthracite metal, and large glass panes build a robust and balanced envelope.
The stone plinth, dark joinery, and tempered glass balustrades maintain a clean reading of the façades, maximizing light entry and reinforcing the visual relationship with the valley.
The metallic planes define edges and finishes with exact precision, integrating technical elements into a unified image.
Boundary, privacy, and urban continuity.
The perimeter enclosure is resolved with vertical metallic slats on a low stone wall, following the slope of the street and balancing transparency and protection. The fragmented layout reduces visual impact and paces the urban curve, while linear planters with native vegetation soften the junction between architecture and ground.
An interior that extends the exterior precision.
The palette is reduced to natural oak, glass, and graphite metal on white backdrops, generating visual continuity and warmth. The U-shaped staircase, with oak treads and glass balustrades, acts as a backbone and light shaft, articulating the vertical route with lightness and precision.
Order, light, and spatial fluidity.
Clear circulation routes and rooms of serene proportions are organised around the central core. White wall planes reflect natural light, while refined junctions and minimal details reinforce the contemporary character. The result is a home where materiality, scale, and landscape integrate into a balanced and durable architecture.
